As 2025 draws to a close, it feels like the right moment to pause and reflect on a year that saw Lodi UK busier than ever. From exhibition halls and open farms to behind-the-scenes filming days and product launches, the past twelve months were packed with progress, people and plenty of learning along the way.
As always, this year was about supporting everyone we work with, from farmers and professional pest controllers to retailers and industry partners. Every conversation, event and visit helped shape the direction of the business and reinforced the importance of staying connected to the challenges faced on the ground.
Here is how 2025 unfolded.
January: Kicking Off at LAMMA 2025
We started the year with a bang at LAMMA, one of the most important events in the UK agricultural calendar, and it certainly set the pace for the months ahead. The NEC was buzzing, and so were the farmers, keen to talk openly about pest pressure, biosecurity and protecting buildings, crops, livestock and livelihood.
One product in particular stole the spotlight. Our Racan Anti-Rodent Spray quickly became a talking point across the halls, helped in no small part by its appearance on the BBC just days before the show. The timing could not have been better, and it was clear from the interest and questions that practical rodent-proofing solutions were firmly front of mind.
Starting the year at LAMMA reminded us just how valuable these face-to-face discussions are and reinforced the role pest prevention plays in modern farming.
February: Shining a Light on Pest Control Professionals
February saw us turn our focus to professional pest controllers with the launch of our PCO Day in the Life YouTube series.
This was about more than content. It was about recognising the people behind the profession and giving an honest insight into what a typical day really looks like. From early starts to problem-solving on site, the series highlighted the skill, variety and dedication involved in pest control work.
The response was incredibly positive and has left us excited to do even more in this space. Working closely with pest controllers, sharing their stories and continuing to create meaningful, industry-led content is something we are already looking forward to expanding in 2026.
March: PPC Live and New Product Innovation
March brought momentum and innovation together with our attendance at PPC Live.
The event provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with pest controllers, attend talks and gain insight into how the industry is evolving. Conversations focused on real-world challenges, compliance, training and the future direction of pest management, all of which continue to influence our approach.
Alongside PPC Live, we announced the launch of the Captiv8 Electric Fly Killer range. A new dimension of fly control designed for modern commercial environments, the out of this world range reflected the growing demand for efficient, compliant and reliable fly control solutions. March was a strong reminder of how important it is to balance education, innovation and open communication across the sector.
April: Supporting Retailers Ahead of Slug Season
As spring arrived, attention naturally turned to the retail, home & garden market, with the launch of our new Organ-X Slug Killer Lentils.
With gardens coming back to life and slug activity increasing, the focus was on early intervention and prevention. The Organ-X range allowed retailers to offer customers an effective solution at exactly the right time, helping to protect plants before damage became a bigger issue.
April highlighted the importance of clear messaging and seasonal timing, ensuring retailers felt supported and consumers felt confident in their choices.
May: On Farm with Bizza Walters
May took us back out onto the farm, working alongside Bizza Walters to film a farmer thought-provoking roundtable discussion.
This farmer focused discussion was open, honest and rooted in real experience from both sides of the table. From the challenges of running a modern farm to the importance of pest control, a genuine insight into the realities of day to day farming life and the practical steps farmers take to protect their livelihoods. Being part of this reinforced the importance of listening, learning and understanding the bigger picture rather than focusing on products alone.
Spending time out in the field on farm continues to shape how we communicate, develop solutions and support the agricultural sector.
June: Adventure Networking and Open Farm Days
June quickly became one of the standout months of the year.
For pest pro’s, we hosted our biggest Adventure Networking event to date. A chance to step away from traditional networking formats, the day focused on teamwork, shared experiences and building stronger connections across the industry. It was challenging, energetic and, most importantly, memorable.
Later in the month, we attended the PX Farms Open Day, the first ever event James Peck has hosted at PX Farms. It was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate British farming, explore operations up close and engage with farmers in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Two very different events, but both centred around connection and community.
July: Learning More About Egg Production
July offered a slightly slower pace, but learning continued with a visit to Russeldene Poultry Farm.
Seeing egg production first-hand provided valuable insight into the specific pest control challenges faced within poultry environments. From hygiene and fly management to wider biosecurity considerations, the visit helped deepen our understanding of this important sector.
These quieter, behind-the-scenes moments often play a key role in shaping future conversations and solutions.
August: Awards Recognition and New Product Launches
August brought a real boost as we learned that Lodi UK had been named finalists at the Midlands Marketing Awards. Recognition like this reflects the great work taking place across the business and the creativity, consistency and collaboration behind our campaigns and content.
The month also saw the launch of our professional sectors Wasp Pole Pro, a practical tool designed to support safer and more efficient wasp nest treatment. Developed with real-world use in mind, it reinforced our focus on solutions that genuinely make a difference to those working in the world of pest control.
September: Events, Awards and New Audiences
After the summer break, September saw activity ramp up across multiple sectors.
We attended GLEE, voted the most loved garden and retail event in Europe to connect with retailers and showcasing solutions tailored to the consumer market. At the same time, we were proud to be involved in the Pest Awards, celebrating excellence and achievement within professional pest control.
September also marked our first visit to Screwfix Live, opening up conversations with new audiences and expanding our reach even further. It was a busy month that truly showcased the breadth of the Lodi UK offering.
October: Building for the Future
October was less about events and more about long-term growth.
Work officially began on our new building and warehouse, marking a significant milestone for the business. This investment represents increased capacity, improved efficiency and a continued commitment to supporting customers as the business grows.
While still under construction, it is a project we are incredibly excited about and cannot wait to share more when we unveil our grand office and warehouse opening in 2026.
November: PestTech 2025
November took us to PestTech 2025, one of the most important events in the professional pest control calendar.
The event provided another opportunity to reconnect with pest controllers, discuss industry challenges and explore future developments. Conversations around best practice, innovation and training once again highlighted the importance of staying closely aligned with the needs of the industry.
December: Signing Off with Thanks
And just like that, we reach December.
As the year comes to a close, the overriding feeling is one of gratitude. Thank you to every farmer, pest controller, retailer, distributor and partner who engaged with Lodi UK throughout 2025. Whether you met us at an event, took part in content, read a blog or used one of our products, you helped shape this year.
2025 was busy, rewarding and full of progress. We are proud of what has been achieved and excited to carry that momentum into 2026.
