Lights, Camera, Action: Lodi UK at GLEE Birmingham 2025

Another year, another fantastic GLEE at Birmingham’s NEC — and what a show it was! We’re back from three action-packed days of conversations, connections, and cinema-inspired fun, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who stopped by our stand.

GLEE is always one of our highlights on the calendar. It gives us the chance to showcase our latest innovations, meet new faces, catch up with old friends in the industry, and hear first-hand what challenges and opportunities you’re experiencing. Every year, we leave the NEC buzzing with ideas and motivation, and this year was no exception.

But GLEE isn’t just about business. At Lodi UK, we love bringing something a little different to the show, something that makes people smile, sparks conversations, and creates a memorable experience for everyone who visits our stand. For 2025, we went full Hollywood with our cinema theme. From movie posters to trailers, sweets to popcorn, our stand was transformed into a blockbuster showcase of pest control with a twist.

Setting the Scene: Our Cinema-Themed Stand

If you visited us at GLEE this year, you’ll know exactly what we mean when we say we went all out. The Lodi UK stand was transformed into a cinema foyer, complete with giant movie posters based on our most popular products.

Each poster gave our products the big-screen treatment: bold graphics, dramatic taglines, and a little tongue-in-cheek humour that got people stopping, smiling, and taking photos. Products like Casino Racan, The Slugfather, Mission: Insecticide, and Storm Wars all got their Hollywood moment, reminding everyone that with Lodi UK, the stars of the show are always our trusted ranges.

And of course, what’s a cinema without snacks? Visitors were treated to fresh popcorn and sweets, keeping the energy high and fuelling all the fantastic conversations we had across the three days. To tie it all together, we even had trailers playing on screen, bringing our cinema theme to life and creating a truly immersive experience.

Conversations That Count

As much as we love having fun with our stand, the heart of GLEE is always about people. This year we had some of our best conversations yet.

We spoke to garden centre owners, retailers, wholesalers, and fellow exhibitors about the challenges facing the industry in 2025. These ranged from increasing consumer demand for sustainable and effective solutions, to the need for innovation in pest control products that are easy to use and trusted by professionals.

It was inspiring to hear how many of you are already familiar with our ranges. It was equally exciting to introduce new faces to the Lodi UK brand. We pride ourselves on combining technical expertise with products that genuinely make a difference, and GLEE gives us the perfect platform to share that mission.

We also loved the chance to listen. These conversations are invaluable to us because they help shape how we support you throughout the year. Whether it’s feedback on packaging, requests for training and support, or simply hearing success stories about how our products have made a difference, every chat helps us improve and grow.

Why GLEE Matters to Us Every Year

There’s something unique about GLEE that keeps us coming back year after year. Unlike many other events, GLEE is all about creativity, innovation, and community within the gardening and retail space. It’s not just about showcasing products. It’s about storytelling, experience, and building long-lasting relationships.

That’s why we always put so much effort into creating a themed stand that people won’t forget. We want visitors to leave with a smile, a memory, and a clear sense of what Lodi UK is all about: trusted products, technical expertise, and a team that’s as approachable as it is knowledgeable.

Judging by the feedback we received on our cinema theme this year, the effort was worth it. So many of you told us that you loved the creativity, the humour, and the way we tied our product ranges into something fun and engaging. For us, hearing those comments is what makes all the planning worthwhile.

Highlights from the Show

There were so many memorable moments from GLEE 2025, but here are just a few of our favourites:

  • The cinema experience: from our posters to the trailers, the stand created a real buzz and gave us an easy way to start conversations.
  • Popcorn and sweets: it might sound simple, but sometimes it’s the little touches that people remember most. We had queues for the popcorn machine, and it definitely helped fuel the positive atmosphere on the stand.
  • Product spotlights: our ranges, including Racan, Organ-X, and Gems, took centre stage in their movie-themed roles. Visitors loved seeing them presented in such a fun, unexpected way.
  • Networking with industry friends: one of the best parts of GLEE is catching up with people we’ve known for years, while also meeting the next generation of retailers and pest control professionals.
  • Customer feedback: we always say that feedback is a gift, and this year’s conversations gave us plenty to take away and work on as we continue to innovate.
