As winter settles across the UK, farmers are being encouraged to use colder weather as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help manage insect pressure in grain stores.

When it comes to protecting stored grain, preparation is everything. From cleaning and proofing through to targeted insect control, having the right products at the right time can make the difference between grain that holds its quality and grain that suffers costly losses.

Another Pig & Poultry Fair is done and dusted, and what an event it was. This May, the team from Lodi UK headed back to the NEC Birmingham for the 2026 British Pig & Poultry Fair, joining thousands of flocking farmers, producers and industry professionals from across the UK for two cracking days of networking, innovation, farm stories and real conversations about the future of farming.

Lodi UK is heading back to one of the UK’s most important livestock events, the Pig & Poultry Fair 2026, taking place this May at the NEC Birmingham. After attending in previous years and building strong connections across the sector, we are excited to be back again, ready to meet farmers, share knowledge, and showcase practical pest control solutions designed specifically for modern farming environments.

LAMMA 2026 officially levelled up, and Lodi UK came armed with pixels, pests and plenty of personality. As exhibitors at this year’s show, we didn’t just turn up with leaflets and lanyards. We brought a full blown Pest Invaders takeover to the NEC, complete with a nostalgic Space Invaders arcade game that had farmers, pest pros and passers by queueing up to press play.

As of 1 January 2026, important legislative changes affecting UK farmers are no longer “on the horizon”, they’re already in force. These updates have direct implications for farm compliance, pest management, business protection and long-term planning.

As 2025 draws to a close, it feels like the right moment to pause and reflect on a year that saw Lodi UK busier than ever. From exhibition halls and open farms to behind-the-scenes filming days and product launches, the past twelve months were packed with progress, people and plenty of learning along the way.
