Lodi UK is heading back to one of the UK’s most important livestock events, the Pig & Poultry Fair 2026, taking place this May at the NEC Birmingham. After attending in previous years and building strong connections across the sector, we are excited to be back again, ready to meet farmers, share knowledge, and showcase practical pest control solutions designed specifically for modern farming environments.
This event has always been a key date in the calendar for us. It brings together forward thinking industry experts, and suppliers all under one roof. For Lodi UK, it is more than just an exhibition. It is an opportunity to have real conversations with farmers about the challenges they face every day and to provide solutions that actually work in real farm conditions.
If you are attending this year, make sure to stop by our stand at 20-411, have a chat with the team, and see what we have been working on.
Why We Keep Coming Back
The Pig & Poultry Fair is one of those events that just gets it right. It is focused, relevant, and packed with people who are genuinely invested in improving their operations.
We have attended the show multiple times now, and each year reinforces why we keep coming back. The conversations are honest, the feedback is valuable, and the connections we build often go far beyond the event itself.
Farmers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it is protecting feed stores, reducing rodent pressure, or improving hygiene standards, our goal is to support farmers with solutions that are both effective and practical.
Being able to stand face to face with the people using our products, hearing what works, what does not, and what they need next, plays a huge role in shaping how we develop and improve our range.
What We Are Showcasing This Year
This year, we are bringing a mix of new product innovations alongside some of our trusted, proven solutions that farmers already rely on.
New for 2026: Smarter Insect Control with Organ-X Pro PYR 8 EW
One of the key highlights on our stand will be Organ-X Pro PYR 8 EW, a professional grade, pesticide free insecticide designed with modern farming systems in mind.
This plant based formulation offers a more balanced approach to insect control, making it suitable for a wide range of environments including grain stores, animal housing, and general farm buildings. It is particularly relevant for farms operating within organic systems or those looking to reduce reliance on traditional chemical inputs.
Despite its more environmentally considered formulation, it still delivers the level of performance that professionals expect when dealing with flying and crawling insects that can quickly build up in livestock environments.
With increasing pressure on farms to meet environmental standards while maintaining productivity, this product represents a step forward in how insect control can be approached.
Supporting Poultry Health with the Defender Range
We will also be showcasing our Defender range, designed to support animal health and hygiene across poultry environments.
Products such as Defender Recharge and Defender Tonic are formulated to help support natural immunity, particularly during periods of stress such as seasonal changes, housing transitions, or disease pressure.
Strong biosecurity starts from within, and maintaining bird health plays a key role in reducing the risk of wider issues across the farm.
Alongside this, our Organ-X Red Mite Desi Dust will also be featured, providing a practical solution for managing red mite in poultry housing. Red mite remains a persistent issue across the UK, impacting bird welfare and productivity, so having reliable, easy to apply solutions is essential.
Proven Pest Control Solutions for Farm Environments
Alongside our newer innovations, we will also be showcasing a selection of our core pest control products that continue to support farmers across the UK.
From rodent control solutions to proofing products, we offer a complete approach to pest management. This includes everything from baiting strategies through to prevention methods such as sealants and mesh that help stop infestations before they start.
With rodents costing UK farms an estimated £14 million per year, staying on top of pest control is not optional. It is essential for protecting feed, infrastructure, and overall farm productivity.
Understanding the 2026 Rodenticide Legislation Changes
One of the biggest talking points in the industry right now is the change to rodenticide legislation that came into effect in January 2026.
Under the updated stewardship rules, anyone purchasing and using professional rodenticides must now hold a recognised qualification such as the RSPH Level 2 Award in Safe Use of Rodenticides, or have sufficient CPD points.
This change has been introduced to ensure that rodenticides are used safely, responsibly, and effectively, particularly in outdoor and agricultural environments.
We know that for many farmers, this shift can feel like a big adjustment. There are questions around compliance, product choice, and what options are still available, especially with restrictions around certain active ingredients for outdoor and burrow use.
That is exactly why we will be there.
If you have any questions about the new legislation, what it means for your farm, or how to stay compliant while still maintaining effective rodent control, come and speak to our team. We can talk you through your options, explain the changes, and help you find a solution that works for you.
Come and Meet the Team (and Razzle)
Of course, it would not be a Lodi UK event without a bit of personality.
Razzle the Rat will be making an appearance across the show, ready for photos, and the occasional bit of mischief. If you have seen him at previous events, you will know he is hard to miss.
More importantly, our team will be on hand throughout the event. Whether you want to talk about a specific pest issue, get advice on products, or just have a general chat about what is happening on your farm, we are here for it.
