How to Use Racan Rat & Mouse Killer Grain Bait
For effective treatment, start by identifying where rats or mice are active. Look for droppings, gnaw marks, scratching noises and established runs, then position your bait stations close to these areas.
1. Identify Rodent Activity
Look for signs of rats or mice and identify areas where they regularly travel, feed or shelter.
2. Keep the Sachet Sealed
Do not open the grain bait sachet. It is designed to be placed into the bait station as supplied, with no need to pour or handle loose grain.
3. Place Inside a Bait Station
Place the required amount of grain bait inside a suitable tamper-resistant bait station, following the application rates provided on the product label.
4. Position Where Rodents Are Active
Securely position bait stations close to areas where you've identified rodent activity. Keep bait away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
5. Check & Replenish
Inspect bait stations regularly and replenish eaten bait as required according to the product label. As this is a multi-feed bait, continued bait availability during treatment is important.
6. Continue Until Activity Stops
Continue treatment and monitoring according to the label instructions. Once treatment is complete, remove remaining bait and bait stations and dispose of them as directed.
