Simple Catch & Release Mouse Control
Add a small amount of suitable food bait before setting the trap in an area where mouse activity has been identified. Look for common signs such as droppings, gnaw marks, scratching noises or established mouse runs, and position the trap alongside walls where mice are likely to travel.

How to Use Racan Humane Mouse Trap
For the best results, first identify where mice are active. Look for signs such as droppings, gnaw marks, scratching noises and established mouse runs, then position the trap close to these areas.
1. Identify Mouse Activity
Look for signs of mice and identify the areas where they regularly travel, feed or shelter. Mice commonly move alongside walls and edges rather than across open spaces.
2. Add Your Bait
Place a small amount of suitable food bait inside the designated bait area at the back of the trap. Peanut butter, chocolate spread, seeds or other high-interest foods can be used to encourage mice to enter.
3. Set the Trap
Set the trap according to the instructions, ensuring the door and sensitive trigger mechanism are correctly positioned and ready to activate when a mouse enters.
4. Position in Active Areas
Place the trap alongside a wall or known mouse run where activity has been identified. Kitchens, garages, lofts, sheds and outbuildings are common areas to monitor.
