How to Use Racan Mouse Snap Traps
For the best results, first identify where mice are active. Look for signs such as droppings, gnaw marks, scratching noises and established mouse runs, then position traps close to these areas.
1. Identify Mouse Activity
Look for signs of mice and identify the areas where they regularly travel, feed or shelter, particularly along walls, cupboards and other sheltered areas.
2. Add Your Bait
Place a small amount of attractive bait, such as peanut butter, chocolate spread, jam or nuts and seeds, onto the bait area.
3. Set the Trap
Carefully arm the snap trap following the instructions provided. Keep fingers clear of the strike area when setting.
4. Position Along Mouse Runs
Place the trap close to walls or areas where mouse activity has been identified. Where children, pets or non-target wildlife could access the trap, place it inside a suitable protective bait box.
