LODI SA was established by Robert Lockman in 1982 working out of a 'garage' producing (on a very small scale) chemicals for grain protection. How things have developed since those early days...
Robert Lockman has built LODI to a global force in pest control and heads the group which is still very much a 'family company'. Robert's son Alexis Lockman has been working for the company for over 14 years and is now the Managing Director of the French operation.
From 1982 LODI grew very quickly in the development of chemicals for grain protection and developed a number of very large agreements with major grain traders; importers and exporters. As the company grew it also started formulating products for public health rodent and insect control and in 2002 acquired the largest distributor of public health products in France - CGB. This aquisition ensured that LODI became the market leader in public health and grain protection.
With the number of European registrations increasing to over 135 the group set its sights in covering demand throughout Europe.
2002 - LODI acquired CGB and became leader of French PCO market.
2003 - LODI acquired a new production facility in Milan to support demand in Italy, Switzerland and Germany.
2004 - Bio 6 was created in a partnership with Belgagri in Belgium to increase the rodenticide range and production capacity.
2005 - LODI UK (10,000 sq feet) office and warehouse was established in Kingswinford West Midlands
2006 - LODI Romania was created to supply products into Eastern European markets.
LODI has established key strategic partnerships with large global blue chip companies and is committed in investing in new innovations for the future. The story is just beginning.......
